This is one of my favourite moments this week. When we see our Year 1 children trying to master the Read Write Inc strategy Fred fingers to attempt spellings for labels in a science lesson. Amazing independence. #Year1TPA #sciencetpa
In #ARTtpa, #Year1TPA learned about the artist Michelle Reader, who makes figurative sculptures using recycled materials. The children used a range of resources to make their own rubbish monsters!!!! They showed resilience and co-operation throughout!
Working in pairs this afternoon to research information about both Mosques and Churches. We are comparing the similarities and differences. ##Class2TPA #RETPA
We have had a lovely day in York for our class trip, we learnt lots about the Vikings at Jorvik (including what was in their poo!) then headed over to have a our own go at being archaeologists at The Dig! Such wonderful experience for us all! #Class4aTPA #Year4TPA #HistoryTPA
We have learned so much today at Jorvik. Did you know they found 750,000 oyster shells when excavating at Coppergate in York and up to 10 Vikings and their animals all lived in one house! #year4btpa, #HistoryTPA, #curriculumenrichmentTPA
We had an amazing time being archaeologists, digging for artefacts that were found on Coppergate in York. We found bones, coins, tools and shells. #year4btpa, #HistoryTPA, #curriculumenrichmentTPA
